Wachirathan Waterfall - Doi Inthanon national park

E-mail Print PDF

Wachirathan Waterfall (Namtok Vachirathan)

The Wachirathan Waterfall is the second major waterfall on the way up Doi Inthanon national park . This one is an impressive and powerful waterfall falling  some 60m though some say the height is more like 80m. The falls also is wide, but the segments to the right of the main tier tend to be stringier and lighter flowing in the dry season but full in May through september.

There are plenty of walkways to experience the waterfall. However, the walkways tends to be slippery from the spray so caution is advised.
Given the ease of access, and Thai peoples love of waterfalls, the falls tends to be quite popular.
