Chiengmai Gymkhana Club

It was founded 1898. They are the oldest sports club in Thailand. It is sitting on over 90
rai of prime land in the centre of the city of Chiang Mai, and has no intention of moving.  In fine old emperor style it is a multi national social sporting club with golf, tennis, squash, cricket and other sports as well as a bar and restaurant club house.  The Chiengmai Gymkhana Club welcomes new members as well as non members. As well as having a wonderful reciprocal arrangements with a number of other lets say ellete clubs. Which some say is whay may not so active members have joined so they can use other clubs while overseas.



Memberships are available and very reasonable priced.
Joining fee of 50,000 baht plus 18% VAT.
Monthly subscription of 600 baht plus VAT

That is not to say it is to very ones style but if you fell like a remittance man or feel a bit love of the home office then the Gymkhana Club could a slice of heaven. For some it is just a stones throw from it.
