The Chiang Mai Hiking Group

The Hiking Group is quite active they meet every Sunday morning at 8am  at the Arboretum, near Chiang Mai University. They sometimes up Doi Pui, maybe take the traditional Pilgrim Trail up to Doi Suthep from before they built he road up, seek out a waterfall or venture into remote hill tribe villages that has yet to be be ruined by tourism. They do about 8-12 km on an average hike.

If you have a strong pair of legs and a sense of adventure, contact Khun Jonathan to get on the mailing list with details of all walks.


For the real keen folks there are often Thursday morning exploration walks, too.
