Stamp Museum Chiang mai

The Chiang Mai Philatelic Museum was once a main post office in Chiang Mai. In 1990 the Fine Arts Department decide to create a post office museum to show case the past artifacts of the industry as well as the old stamps and to sell issues to today collectors.

 The historic Building by the river retains it quaint atmosphere from a previous era, yet is still alive with the love of stamps and of course the tools of the trade as seen by the collect of old poste boxes.

Every year , the Thai post will releases new stamp issues to show the world of its culture and beauty

Office Hours: Tue-Sun 9.00am - 4.00pm The museum is closed on Mondays and holidays. The Chiang Mai Philatelic Museum is located across for the Limping police station so when you pay your tickets drop by and relax with a piece of history.
