Silver Museum

Chiang Mai now has a Silver Museum at Wat Muen San just off Wualai road (the silversmith road). It is the temple on the east side of the road at the cow statues go down the angled soi that lead to the temple. (if you face the cows it will be slightly to the left and behind the) This formally private collection was donated to the Wat Muen San temple, by a local Chiang Mai family of silver retailers, it was an old family collection, but sadly their son has past on, and having no other children they decided to donate it for all to enjoy.

The pieces are some of the best handmade silver ware to be found in the whole of Thailand in one place. Photos will be coming...ASAP
