One of the long time restaurants is BIER STUBE restaurant it is a very simple or even rustic place on the inner side of the moat near Thapae gate. It is a favorite place for expat and back packers alike.

German food and a great breakfast too. ..

Not Fancy but fair prices and good food..Even the Thai food is good here.

I used to eat at Bier Stube in late 1980s. Place was run by two nice looking Thai chicks, I believe both single at the time. Great food and great service.
