At Chiangmai tourist guide vo. 12 no. 10 was the lead story about the Veggie festival. Even there was an incomplete address of the restaurant at Mahidol rd., just mentioned "on the right side as you drive to the airport from downtown". NO FOREIGNER WILL IT FIND from that "advice", also because the sign is very small.
Even in that guide it was not pointed out at the map and in all these commercial tourist guide magazins it is whether mentioned nor at any map.
I am really embarassed about so much ignorance.

I am here the 3rd time and got know the place from other backpackers at the guesthouse in 2005 already.

After my last visit in 2007, March the restaurant changed some intereurs not by best result. It is quite dark inside because the shop was transfered and is taking all the daylight from its side. The shop sortiment is more multiple now but many products which can be found in outside supermarkets. For the natural medicine is a separate room now wihout self service and that selling lady has no knowledge.

An important matter I have to tell You :

Why are You playing music from one side and showing videos of teaching Buddhist monks on the other ???????????

That is a kind of promotion used as consumption animation in mainstream but does not belong to more consciencely developed vegetarian way of life.
I think when BUDDHA gave his lessions his diciples were listening concentrated and not having meal at the same time............
The way he taught for mental development is CONCENTRATION -
THAT MEANS :
IF YOU ARE EATING YOU HAVE TO DO NO OTHER THINGS whether TALKING nor LISTENING MUSIC or LESSONS.

Think about it ............
