Top Gear Bike Shop

E-mail Print PDF

The Top Gear bike shop, may have been the first high end bike shop in Chiang Mai. It opened when people judged a pedal bike as transport for poor people, and Thais would ask but I can buy a used motorbike for that price, but through dedication and perseverance they have helped create a market where the love of biking and the stigma of riding has hopefully been change for ever in Chiang Mai.

The repair and adjustment section shows that a owner has a back ground in engineering or at least the love of fine tools and a clean area. It does contrast from many of the other shops in town in this regard.

They do not have many bikes in stock but from the staff I am assured they can order what ever with no problem.
