The " Thai wedding dress" is most often a formal Thai dresses so is not just made to be woren for a single time but to be enjoyed afterwards too. Too much time and care has gone into creating a traditional Thai dress to not have it be worn, loved and enjoyed as often as possible.
The traditional thai wedding dress was not a Thai silk wedding dress but handwoven wedding dress made of cotton or blend. A material that is more comfortable and cool in a climate like ours. In fact Thai silk is an American idea of Mr. Thompson .
