NOK Aviation is non profit flying club in Chiang Mai, devoted to providing safe, well-maintained aircraft for instruction and personal use at a minimum cost to members. It has short term membership available to mean non locals can join and hire planes and gliders.
I had the pleasure of getting a tour of the hangers and field a while back and found the staff to be friendly and informative.
Yes they also have gliders and glading in Chiang Mai for members to rent or buy.
The club house and airfield is a privately owned and licensed airfield (VTCY), just 12 miles SE of Chiangmai. Our runway is 830m x 30m - grass covered. We welcome visiting aircraft but as the runway is currently undergoing regular maintenance it is essential that all visitors telephone first to find runway availability (PPO).
