The Thai Train system is a government railway but it is also a very special thing, it is a step back in time when time was to be enjoyed and travel was more relaxing.

You can fly to Chiang Mai and be there in 1 hour or you can spend the time seeing the country side and meeting the people. You may dine in the dinning car or if you have a sleeper by day you have table side service. We recommend that you go 2nd class air conditioning with sleeper. For sure it is quitier than fan, the cars are newer and cleaner.
