"The
Old Teak House"
This unique venue is a refurbished teak cottage
located on a young mixed fruit orchard, backing onto the royal
forest reserve. It was started to be rebuilt as "our hideaway"
but with several "past couples now friends" coming
to see it during it's slow transformation from a old nearly condemned
house to a quaint Thai style country retreat. Most couples that
saw it asked if in ten years can they come back can they renew
their vows there.

Now my husband has agreed with me to offer it as a special
wedding venue. The house was originally redesigned as our retreat
from the beginning with jaccuzi style bath tub (large enough
for two), large low windows so the Garden and mountain view can
be seen from the carved teak wood bed. The landscape garden,
great for romantic evenings, so it is really perfect to start
your new life in! Even with these modern luxuries it has not
lost it's charm as the Thai teak country house.
It is located in Doi Saket a mere 15 kilometers from
city center yet a world apart and a back fifty years.
